Dancing on Ice – Series Five – The Line Up
Superstar skating duo Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean return to train a team of celebrities to dance on the ice in ITV1’s hit show.
This year’s series is bigger than ever with 14 celebrity skaters – the highest number so far. And with everything to play for, the bar is set for the most gripping series yet.
The celebrities are: Inbetweeners actress Emily Atack ; Olympic swimmer and presenter: Sharron Davies; comedian and actor Bobby Davro; Boyzone’s Mikey Graham; GMTV’s Dr Hilary Jones; actor Gary Lucy; charity campaigner Heather Mills; author Tana Ramsay; Hollyoaks actor Kieron Richards, actor Jeremy Sheffield; singer, presenter and Simon Cowell’s best friend Sinitta; actress Hayley Tamaddon, EastEnders actress Danniella Westbrook; and ex Coronation Street actor Danny Young.
Following in the footsteps of previous winners Suzanne Shaw, Kyran Bracken, Gaynor Faye and Ray Quinn, our skating stars will perform live each week to win the approval of the all important judges, capture the hearts of the nation, and compete for the title of Dancing on Ice Champion 2010.
Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby will be rink side to present the live series and judges Jason Gardiner, Nicky Slater, Karen Barber, Emma Bunton and Robin Cousins will be on hand to deliver their verdicts.
There will be a new face on the Dancing on Ice judging panel as Emma Bunton joins Robin Cousins, Karen Barber, Jason Gardiner and Nicky Slater.
On Friday nights Ben Shephard and Coleen Nolan will be entertaining fans with an exclusive preview of the Sunday night performances and an insight into the world behind the rink on Dancing on Ice Friday.
This year’s celebrities are more determined than ever before and have their sights set on mastering daring moves including the axle, the helicopter and the infamous head-banger as well as new and thrilling lifts and jumps.
With the standard so high last year and a team of competitive celebrities, how will our skating stars fare under the spotlight?
Starts January 10 on ITV1
