Divine, the only Fairtrade chocolate co-owned by farmers, is delighted to introduce a fabulous new flavour to its 100g bar range.

Divine is always experimenting to find perfect combinations with their delicious all-natural chocolate, and the latest creation is Dark Chocolate with Raspberries.

Divine Dark with Raspberries, a rich 70% chocolate contrasted with the fruity tartness of real raspberries, is available from Waitrose stores nationwide (and online through ocado.com), Liberty in London and online at divinechocolateshop.com and ethicalsuperstore.com/divine from the start of September at an RRP of £1.69.

Charlotte Borger of Divine Chocolate says: “We love sampling new flavour combinations with Divine Chocolate – and we think this new bar is exceptional!  It’s a great addition to our growing range – and we think it will be a big hit with chocolate lovers.”

Divine is the UK’s leading Fairtrade chocolate brand and is the choice for chocolate lovers who are looking for high quality products and ethical credentials they can really trust.  Every Divine product is Fairtrade certified, grown by a 45,000 farmers in Ghana who belong to the Kuapa Kokoo co-operative. And because the co-operative owns 45% of the company, the farmers share in Divine profits as well as being instrumental in the running of their very own chocolate company.  So you can rest assured that Divine truly is the chocolate that makes everybody feel good.

The smallholder farmers who grow the cocoa for Divine take particular care in growing, harvesting, fermenting, and drying the beans. The best cocoa beans and only real cocoa butter from the cocoa crop is used and entirely natural ingredients (and also Fairtrade where available) are used to flavour the chocolate, giving a truly heavenly chocolate experience.

The 70% Dark with Raspberries will be the tenth flavour to make up the 100g bar range.  It combines the sumptuous combination of Divine’s critically acclaimed 70% dark* chocolate with real raspberry pieces.  As with all Divine products, the bar is free from artificial flavourings, colourings and preservatives.  It is dairy free (made in a factory where dairy products are made), suitable for vegetarians and vegans, and is Kosher certified.  Fairtrade sugar from Malawi and Fairtrade vanilla (real vanilla not vanilla flavouring) from India are used to flavour the bar.  In celebration of the company’s Ghanaian ownership, it comes beautifully packaged in traditional West African motifs called Adinkra symbols, each of which carry their own meaning.  Available from Waitrose stores nationwide & online through Ocado (ocado.com) and at London’s most prestigious department store Liberty at an RRP of £1.69.  Also available online at the Divine Chocolate Shop (divinechocolateshop.com) and www.ethicalsuperstore.com/divine.
