The new eco-friendly ‘must-have’ accessory: bespoke electric scooters from econogo™
New British company econogo™ launches the eagerly awaited yogo; a brand new chic electric scooter that’s set to be this seasons ‘green’ must-have.
It’s the UK’s first electric scooter that uses a fully detachable and portable battery, making it as easy to charge up as your mobile phone (traditional models use inconvenient extension leads to an integrated battery).
For the first time ever, it’s convenient to own and run an electric scooter; you can charge the removable batteries at home, or even in your office. yogo is also great for the environment and has minimal annual running costs compared to petrol-engine versions. Bespoke design options are available with a selection of graded fabrics and colours for the seat and different paint colour for bodywork which can be made to order, offering a totally unique and stylish vehicle.
The new yogo, is now available to buy online econogoelectricscooters.co.uk and has a competitive retail price of £1,999. Offering the utmost in convenience, yogo can store a second detachable battery, meaning that the scooter will run for 30 + 30 miles using both batteries, giving it a clear edge against traditional models. Batteries recharge in just 2 hours; far less than with conventional cumbersome models which are highly impractical requiring 4-8 hours in order to achieve a partial/full charge via an extension lead.
econogo™ offers excellent value for money with minimal annual running costs and it comes at a time when the latest generation of electric two wheelers are able to match the performance of <125cc petrol-engines which account for 45% of the 140,000 powered two-wheelers sold each year.
*You need to be at least 16 to drive a 50cc moped and have a provisional UK licence. Once you’ve taken your CBT, you can ride a 50cc moped with ‘L’ plates. You can’t take passengers or drive on motorways until you have a full UK motorcycle licence.
If you have a full UK driving licence taken before Feb 2001 no further tests are needed. Holders of a full UK driving licence also do not need to have ‘L’ plates. [DVLA]
