Forget the Hermès Bugatti make way for the new Smart Car

I think everyone was in awe when the utterly devine Hermès Bugatti was offered to the very rich and famous.

The cleaver people at Hermès soon realized ‘hey it’s a credit crunch…’ lets make a Hermès car that people can actually afford!

We introduce you to the Hermès “Fortwo édition Toile” Smart Car.

Smart are currently promoting themselves with their new electric car as the ‘transport of the future’ (that was until Fifth Gear’ got hold of one of course!).

In celebration of the Smart Car’s 10-year anniversary Hermès has once again put its own very unique twist on it. With a rather grand unveiling at Paris’ Grand Palais of the Hermès “Fortwo édition Toile” Smart Car.

The cars come in 10 colors including gold, indigo, and the Hermes orange. The exterior hasn’t really been touched but inside “wow”… There is a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear-shift cover and an interior covered in the Hermes’ signature canvas “toile H.”

The Hermès “Fortwo édition Toile” Smart Car sells for €38,000 (£25,996 approx)
