JLS Announce the first single from their second album – The Club Is Alive

The Club Is Alive jls

JLS, indisputably the biggest boyband in the country, are announcing the first single from their second album.

The enormous club track, The Club Is Alive, will be released on July 4. The single is a change in direction for the boys, mixing dance beats with soulful melodies and a hook many would recognise. Sounding like you never heard them before, the single shows why everybody’s in love with JLS. The Club Is Alive is the first single from the as-yet untitled second album which will be released on November 22.

Aston, Marvin, JB and Oritsé’s self-titled debut album has now sold 1.2 million copies in the UK and reached the top of the charts.  Singles Beat Again and Everybody In Love both crashed in to the #1 spot too. JLS also won two Brits at the 2010 ceremony – British Breakthrough and British Single (for Beat Again).

The guys are currently in America recording their forthcoming album ahead of its autumn release date.  In addition, fans can look forward to lots of chances to see JLS live over the summer and in the winter.

The group have already announced a massive arena tour in December/January 2010/11 that will see them play over 35 venues throughout the UK and Ireland. Before then, JLS will be appearing at a host of shows over the summer including Radio 1’s Big Weekend (May 23), Capital FM’s Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium (June 6) and T4 On The Beach at Weston Super Mare (July 4).

Full details of all performances are on JLSofficial.com.
