John Walker of The Walker Brothers has written his autobiography with fellow Walker Brother, Gary, entitled No Regrets – Our Story.

The Walker Brothers – John, Scott and Gary – were one of the biggest pop groups of the 1960s. Gifted with stunning voices and drop dead-gorgeous looks, their appeal was irresistible. Massive hits such as ‘Make It Easy On Yourself‘ and ‘The Sun Ain`t Gonna Shine Anymore‘ have become evergreen classics.

At a time when the UK ruled the musical world, The Walker Brothers were one of the few American acts to matter.

Now for the first time, John and Gary have broken their silence to reveal the truth about the group, what led to the famous split and they lay bare the details of their private lives, including encounters with the other stars they met along the way, such as Walt Disney, Humphrey Bogart, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Jimi Hendrix.They tell what it was like to live in the glare of publicity and under siege by fans, and what enigmatic Scott Walker was really like.

John still records regularly and is the only Walker Brother actively performing today. In fact he is about to embark on a tour of the UK in April with The Dakotas and will be playing  The Grand Theatre, Blackpool on April 22nd.
