Lemar to release second single from The Hits Collection Coming Home

Following the success of his recent hit single The Way Loves Goes, released in February of this year, Lemar will release the brand new studio track Coming Home. Like The Way Love Goes, this track was recorded exclusively for Lemar’s greatest hits package The Hits.

The Hits was released on March 1^st and is testament to an enduring and successful career, which has seen Lemar pick up two BRIT Awards and four MOBO Awards since his debut release in 2003. The Hits includes smash hit chart topping singles, Dance (With You), 50/50, If There’s Any Justice, It’s Not That Easy and his latest top 10 single The Way Loves Goes, which since its release has become Lemar’s most successful single in six years. The Hits collection also sees Lemar teaming up with his mates JLS for a brand new version of What About Love, taken from his 2003 Dedicated album.  They became good friends when JLS supported Lemar on his tour last year. The guys got together to give a stunning live performance of the song for this year’s BBC’s Sport Relief (www.youtube.com/watch?v=gvfDiMlnlyw).

Coming Home was co-written by Lemar along with Alonzo Mario Stevenson (aka Novel), Eric Stamile and Tony Reyes (previous collaborations include Gwen Stefani, Shakira and Leona Lewis). In keeping with the upbeat sound of The Way Love Goes, Coming Home is a contemporary pop song that showcases Lemar’s unique vocal talent that has made the singer a household name in a short space of time.

The video sees Lemar teaming up with renowned video director Rage once again.  Rage who directed The Way Love Goes has an impressive C.V including working on videos for N-Dubz, Busta Rhymes, Cypress Hill, Soulja Boy and Fall Out Boy. The video also features the Boy Blue dance troupe, the UK’s most successful and accomplished hip-hop dance company.

This Summer will see Lemar performing at the Isle Of Man Bay Festival on Friday 18 June, alongside a line-up including JLS, The Saturdays and The Feeling. Lemar said:  “As I’m currently promoting my ‘Hits’ album it gives me an excuse to play a greatest hits set, so I’m looking forward to it.”
