Psychic Sally’s Big Fat Operation

physic-sally-morgan

With her incredible psychic gift, Sally Morgan can reunite those who have passed over with their loved ones still on Earth, bringing comfort to the grief-stricken.

But there’s one area in which her powerful ability does not give her any more insight than the average woman – managing her weight. In all-new and exclusive documentary Psychic Sally’s Big Fat Operation, Britain’s foremost psychic medium shares her long-term struggle with her weight and allows cameras to capture her next, momentous step towards better health: gastric bypass surgery.

Like many women, Sally has struggled with her size for decades and now, tipping the scales at 19.5 stone, her health is in serious jeopardy. Having tried every slimming pill, powder and potion on the market, Sally is taking time out from packing venues across the country to try a radical new weight-loss solution – and LIVING’s cameras are following her every step of the way.

From her initial consultations with one of the UK’s leading bariatric surgeons through the nerve-wracking lead-up to the procedure, the show captures Sally’s every doubt and fear about the life-changing surgery. Will the painful road to recovery lead to a fitter, healthier Sally or will she regret choosing to take her weight-loss dream to such extremes? Viewers can see how the aftermath of the surgery plays out and discover if Sally manages to make an amazing transformation, this week only on LIVING.

whilst I wish her the best of luck, there’s a much simpler option… energy in=energy out. If only she could control her eating habits there would be no need for nonsense pills and bariatric surgery which is frankly a drain on the taxpayer. How ridiculous. Yes it is harder for some to stay slim than others but that’s life and if that means you have to work a bit harder to control what goes in your mouth then so be it, such is life. I really have no sympathy for this woman.

  9. lisa says:

dear sally, good luck after ur op, when i was 21 i was 24stone and a size 28, so i go a band and in a yr a went to a size 8, then they found out my band had cut thought my tummy,so they had to remove it ,now i have put on some weight and im waiting to see if i cant get the bypass.

  10. karen says:

Well done u please could u tell me the name of your surgeon and what hospital he is based in xxx

  11. claire says:

i’ve been kind of against this operation bcos it is a serious one. but i watched this programme and related a lot to her…. except i did notice she piled her shopping trolley up with all the wrong foods. well done to her but i don’t think she was trying to lose weight hard enough – the things she was eating do not cross my threshold. i think she just took the easy way tbh.

having said that it’s really given me food for thought (pardon the pun), i think i would consider surgery now as at 41 i have carried a lot of extra weight for over 20 years and i am really feeling it.

  12. claire says:

oh! i came on the internet to find out the name of her surgeon…..

  13. Bailey says:

It has amazing results but it takes a bit of time to get used to and it not all plain sailing they dont tell you the horrible bits the depression, the tiredeness and weakness, the loss of appetite the constant feeling of sick, but over time it will pass and you will soon learn that this is a life changing operation their is no going back so accept this and take each day as it comes – on the plus side – eat anything that you fancy – as you cant eat a lot so enjoy a small portions -make sure you are around people who are geniune – they will be their to support you
you will succeed – take one day at a time and enjoy each day do not worry about tomorrow.

  14. colin and helen almond says:

my wife helen is awaiting her consultation for a bypass/baloon/band.

  16. Helene Bell says:

Congratulation. Ive been refused a Knee operation because of my weight, and have been advised to have bariatric surgery to reduce the presure on my joints. 18. Suzanne says:

    Dear Sally

you look so happy and full of life since your bypass and looks like you have more energy.

I will have the same op very soon and I hope this will change my life but very frightened but sink or swim.

  19. Sarah says:

Don’t think I agree with the media popularising obesity surgery so much. There are far safer, simpler and less painful options available, like exercise, which are also more effective at controlling weight in the long term.

Although I wish you the best Sally and hope you get what you want, I really wish you were showing people who to lose weight the safe and gradual way and promoting healthy eating and exercise.

  20. nikki68 says:

sally, love you to bits and your bubliness but, have to agree with sarah. im on a lifetime diet and not in the position to get a band even tho they say im obese, im 5.3 and was 14st 11lbs and after 4 months im now 13st 8lbs. i do get depressed coz its slow but my nurse does reassure me slower is better and no saggy skin. anyway good luck just hope you dont lose your smiley bubbly self…

  21. Mrs jyoti khan says:

    Hi Sally.
Well done. You look GREAT! Your programme was very informative and it helped me to make my mind up to have the op. My GP referred me about a month ago so i am waiting anxiously for an answer. I am 49 and my weight and height is exactly like yours and suffer with hypertension and arthritis and have been a yo yo dieter all my life. I have been a carer for husband past 14yrs and had 2 children to bring up, plus all household responsibilities, it has been difficult to look after myself. But now its time i do something before its too late. from jyoti
