SIGG Launch Second Limited Edition Vivienne Westwood Bottle – And You Shouldn’t Miss It!
Following the huge success of the first limited edition SIGG bottle designed exclusively by Vivienne Westwood, SIGG launches the second design in June 2010 at the Vivienne Westwood SS11 Menswear Show in Milan.
Makers of the original Swiss reusable aluminium bottle, SIGG has partnered with Vivienne Westwood to help raise awareness around the unnecessary waste and harm caused to the environment through the purchasing and disposal of plastic bottles. The unique collaboration has resulted in the creation of a limited series of fashion-forward, stylish alternatives for the eco-conscious.
For the design of the latest bottle, which was launched at the SS11 Menswear Catwalk Show, Vivienne Westwood chose a graphic with the tagline “Get a Life, Art Lovers Unite!” from her Gold Label SS11 collection.
With environmental protection remaining a cause close to both SIGG and Vivienne Westwood’s hearts, together they are launching three Limited Edition bottles in 2010, with the release dates coinciding with the main fashion shows in February, June and September. Both brands passionately believe that behaviour change at high profile events, such as these, is key to educating and encouraging consumers to give up plastic bottles and reduce the amount of plastic waste that goes to landfill.
As with the previous design, these limited editions will be gifted exclusively to invited guests and backstage at the catwalk shows with only a limited number of the bottles available thereafter in Vivienne Westwood stores, the SIGG webshop and selected retail outlets around the world.
