Supernatural Series 5 Finale

For the majority of young people, the most they have to worry about is getting a foot on the career or property ladder. For the Winchester brothers, however, the challenge is to prevent Armageddon, as the apocalyptic finale to the fifth series of spine-tingling US hit Supernatural comes to LIVING.

Redefining high-stakes drama, the season’s last two episodes see Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) finally face off against the devil for the future of humanity.

In the first half of the heart-pounding double-header, the Winchesters’ friends come together to do battle with the forces of evil, but the ultimate test is Sam’s alone. As the devil’s vessel on Earth, Sam holds a unique power. He decides to go face to face with Satan as the brothers’ epic battle to halt the apocalypse comes to a head in the final episode. But if Sam lets Lucifer into his body, will he be able to control the monster long enough to hurl him back into the cage that once held him?

Even with their friends by their side, the brothers are no match for Satan and he soon inhabits Sam’s body. Natural disasters strike around the world and the scene is set for the final showdown between Satan and Michael. Everyone tells Dean that nothing can save Sam now, but he can’t stay away from the ultimate battle over the fate of the universe. Will the powerful bond between the brothers be enough to stop the end of the world? Or will the end of season five of Supernatural mean the end of days on Earth, this week only on LIVING?
