Fitness Model Trevor Adams Tells Us To Tone Our ASSets
Lets face it… guys are very visual creatures. We like our fast cars, our expensive houses and our guy candy. What do all these have in common? Well, they have to have their curb appeal or they get kicked to the curb, right?
What is it that you find attractive about your man? Is it his cute face, his pecs, his arms, or most uncommonly, his legs? We know that everyone loves to workout their upper bodies but seem to neglect the very parts of the body that take you where ever you want to go. Well, whatever it is that you find attractive about your mate, everyone has that special part about their significant other that they find…well…significant.
Take me for instance, I am an ass man. My partner has to have a nice ass, no questions asked. An ass or to be politically correct, the buttocks, is very evident while in the buff of course, but while in shorts, jeans, or other clothes, are those assets as striking? If not, then perhaps a few “floor exercises” that I like to do on a regular basis would ASSist you with this area.
I like to do what I call “leg kick backs” very similar to a tricep kick back but just working a completely different part of the anatomy. You will get on the floor, preferably carpet or a mat so it doesn’t hurt thy knees; get on all fours, YES, doggie style, don’t act like you haven’t been in this position before and while your arms are supporting your upper body and while remaining in the locked position, you are going to “kick back” one of your legs, until its parallel with the rest of your body. You will feel the buns tighten/burn and the other leg muscles contract, etc, and thats good. While in the full up right position, hold your leg up for say three seconds before coming down. Do 1 set with 10-12 reps before changing the other leg. Repeat each leg 2 additional times before your done.
Without overwhelming you with all the leg workouts here, I will tell you my favorite one, which is a little more advanced then the floor exercise that I just told you about. The next exercise that I am referring to is called lunges. You can do walking lunges with the barbells or dumbbells. You can do them while on the Smith machine or you can do what I do and prop your foot up on a bench, hyper extending the leg, and putting your butt to the test with total isolation.
You see people do the lunges all the time in the gym, one because its annoying when they are “lunging” all over the place and two because its funny to watch, but three and most importantly, its a very effective workout technique for the buns and the legs as a whole otherwise this exercise wouldn’t be so popular. So next time your in the gym and want to give your assets a boost, try the workouts mentioned, but just be prepared to call into work the next day…

Wanted to say how great it was to read the cover story on Trevor in Instinct magazine. Had seen a profile earlier this year in Men’s Fitness and Trevor I think it’s great that you felt comfortable in being Instinct’s cover story and me support. Take care, Bob
Trevor, you are very handsome indeed. I am an older man (40-something) who has been consistantly working out for over 2 decades. I would like to add an excercise routine which I discovered (I am frequently trying something new) enhances/strengthens the gluteus area. If you have a bench at home it is more convenient, but this excercise can also be performed in a gym. Place a olympus size bar on a bench press machine and stand about 2-3 feet (or more) away from the bar and hold onto the bar. Now, kick your feet back landing on the balls of the foot which you are kicking back. Repeat with the other leg. This motion is very similar to reverse lunges, except you don’t have to bend the forward as much. You can use a dumbbell or your own body weight. I usually perfom 3-6 sets of 25-50 repititions without dumbbells, or 4-8 sets of 15-25 repititions with and without or without dumbbells.
I too am an ass (and legs) man, and you have a FANTASTIC SET OF LEGS AND ASS
I am a 33 year old guy.I have been working out since I was 14. I know I have a GREAT body (I am confident, not cocky). I am not muscle bound, just very muscular! I have been told I have a nice ass. I have to admit, I do not have to do much work keeping it that way. I was blessed with a nice booty. I do 4-6 sets of lunges and 6-8 sets on the leg press machine. Trevor is a great looking man and like, myself, he has a great body and a great ass! (BTW- I am not gay, but I know a good looking guy with a great body when I see one!)
