‘Under The Influence’: Gio-Goi AW 09 Collection

Looking for inspiration for the new season’s collection we found that we are all UNDER THE INFLUENCE of the media, everyday heroes and style icons.

Whether we’re influenced by music, movies, television or just plain life, we at GIO-GOI are always hunting around to find where the next movement or styling idea will come from.

A/W 09 sees GIO-GOI colour down its main palette so we can highlight with strong accent hues like Atoll and Glazed Blues, Spruce greens, Cranberry and Postal Reds. The silhouettes are elongated, narrow and sharp, transpires throughout both the men’s and women’s collections, and an emphasis is placed on attention to detail.

Graphic embellishments are mixed with photographic foils, slogan tee-shirts and photo-prints permeate the ranges and highlight our musical heritage.  GIO-GOI girls toughen up with a hint of biker chick to balance out the vibrant, sexy and bling statement pieces, whilst GIO-GOI guys add a touch of utility, as we continue to re-work knitwear with hard over-print panels and graphite fabric reinforcements.
